Website for journalists, media students launched

New Delhi: Claiming that it will be a common platform to all budding and professional journalists a website, http://mediahive.co.in/ was launched here on May 17. The website is one-stop information centre for all journalists, media students and faculty members, said the website PR Executive Anu Shakti.

“Besides the news within the media industry, it covers all the information regarding fellowship, scholarship and job openings in this field. It also has a complete listing of both national international newspapers, magazines, news agencies, television channels, production houses, publications, news websites, radio stations and press clubs etc,” Shakti said.

The website is an arm of New Delhi-based Elabros Films, which makes documentaries, corporate films and promotional videos besides doing scripting and post-production works.

Launching the website, Asad Elahi, creative director, Elabros Films, said, “Mediahive.co.in is a complete package for print, television and online journalists and media students. It also has a special section for freelancers, where they can upload their profiles, and thus can enhance their chances of getting more freelance assignments and permanent jobs in the industry.”
