Lucknow: A book on the life and contribution of Advocate Mirza Javed Murtaza, former patron of Tanzeem Ali Congress, was unveiled here on his 1st death anniversary on Sunday. The book ‘Hayat-e-Javed’ in Urdu has been written by his daughter Robina Murtaza. It was released by Justice Murtaza Hassan, the father of late Javed Murtaza, at a function.
At the function people of different walks of life were present to pay homage to the late advocate Javed who was also leader of Tahreek-e-Azadari and Tahaffuz-e-Auqaf. The speakers remembered his service and contribution for the community. They highlighted various points of his life narrating some incidents that proved his determination to work for the community.
In his speech, Justice Murtaza urged people to carry on the work of late Advocate Javed because this is the true tribute to him. He also appreciated his granddaughter Robina Murtaza for her book on the life of her father.
