New Delhi: All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM.), the Umbrella body of the Indian Muslim organizations, has strongly condemned the torching by Jewish settlers of the historic Masjid in Beit Fajjar in the West Bank on 4thOctober 2010.
According to the news Jewish settlers entered the mosque and torched the mosque, Quran and prayer mats and left Hebrew graffiti with slogans against Arab sand Muslims.
“This is second time when this Masjid has been torched by the Jewish extremists. This shows that the existence of Jewish settlements on the West Bank not only undermines peace negotiations but also generates the potential of large scale Jewish-Arab violence” reads release of AIMMM.
“The AIMMM calls upon the Government of India & the international community to take notice of this incident & ask Israel to withdraw Jewish settlers from all occupied Arab Territories and give peace a chance” it added.
