Malappuram: The Hajj flights of this year from the Karippur Airport in Malappuram will begin on October 21 and end on November 3. The Hajj Camp will begin at the Hajj House near the Karippur Airport on October 20, a day prior to the beginning of the Hajj flight service.
The Saudi Arabian Airlines had scheduled the flights for the Kerala Hajj Committee from October 21 to November 4. But it is reportedly decided that the service would end on November 3 itself by providing additional flights on October 25. Accordingly, three flights will fly from Karippur on 25th.
The Hajj flights from other states begin to take pilgrims to Makkah on October 9 itself, whereas those from Kerala begin on 21 only. Two flights of the Saudi Arabian Airlines will fly from Karippur daily, with 300 pilgrims in the first and 350 in the second flight. The first flight is scheduled to be at 12 noon and the second at 4 pm.
