Indian Constitution turns 60: ANHAD to observe it with college students

Mumbai: ANHAD will observe 60 years of Indian Constitution and World Peace Day in its own way. The civil rights group will organize a program ‘Celebrating Democracy’ comprising various literary and fine art competitions for college students in Mumbai and Thane.

The competitions of Essay Writing, Poetry Writing, Poster making and Painting will have one
theme – ‘Peace, Justice, Equality and Diversity’.

The essay can be in any of four languages – Hindi, English, Marathi or Urdu and of 800-1500
words. The Poem would also be in any of the same 4 languages. The poster would be of 2ft x 1.5
ft and painting should also be of the same size in any colour. The young students can give a
message to the people of India in a creative manner by participating in it.

A panel of Judges would select the best five entries each from Essays, Posters, Poems and
Paintings. Best Ten Entries from each section will get merit certificates. The certificate and
prizes distribution program comprising some performance, exhibition and speeches about
the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution will be held on the World Peace Day, 21st
September, 2010.

The last date for sending entries is 15th of September 2010 and it should be sent for selection to the following address:
