Haryana’s Health Minister Narender Singh said Friday that the Advance Care policy would be formulated soon.

“It would seek to provide best possible advanced facilities to patients and gear up the machinery for meeting any emergency-like situation. Health facilities in civil hospitals would be brought at par with the services offered by units in the private sector,” the minister said here after a meeting with health department officials.

The minister asked senior health officers, including the director-general of health services and civil surgeons to visit out-patient departments (OPDs) of government hospitals across Haryana and examine patients.

Singh said that 111 new vehicles had been purchased by the health department to beef up medical infrastructure in the state.
