New Delhi : Exiled Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasrin Friday visited the Ramlila Maidan, where social activist Anna Hazare has been fasting for 11 days for a stringent anti-corruption bill.
“Just visited not-so-big Ramlila Maidan. School boys wearing Anna caps. Not so many girls and women are there. Vendors selling national flags,” she tweeted on the mircoblogging site Twitter.
The 48-year-old controversial author, whose books have been banned in Bangladesh forcing her to go into exile since 1994, now resides in the capital.
