Islamic Revolution flourishing despite conspiracies: Pakistan leader

Islamabad : Pakistani religious leader said on Thursday that Islamic Revolution in Iran has been flourishing gloriously for past 32 years thwarting a variety of conspiracies.

Talking to IRNA Tehrik-e-Islami Pakistan Chief Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi said that commitment of Iranian leaders with the Revolution is remarkable.

“No doubt that Islamic Revolution is a major event of contemporary era,” he said.

The religious leader paid homage to Imam Khomeini for his role in leading Iranian nation in difficult times.
“Imam Khomeini gave a true concept of Islam and set an example for the other Muslims countries,” he added.

He congratulated the people of Iran and their government for upholding the torch of Imam Khomeini.

Sajid Ali Naqvi said that enemies of Iran are making every effort to destabilize the Islamic Republic and for this they are using those elements that are not supportive of Iranian Revolution.

“Success of Iran lies in Islamic Revolution,” he said. He was of the view that conspiracies against Islamic Revolution would fail.

He noted that there is exemplary governance in Iran irrespective of difficulties. Sajid Ali Naqvi said that Iranian Islamic Revolution has a major role in solving the problems of Iranian nation.

‘Now Iran because of the struggle of its people has been able to achieve status of a respectable nation around the world,’ he said.

He said that the Islamic Revolution has dispelled many misconceptions against Islam and depicted the true face of Islam.

The religious leader said that Iranian people despite the Western propaganda has been celebrating the 32nd anniversary of the Revolution marking great achievements.

‘The Islamic Revolution had shown a right track to the Iranian nation in difficult times,’ said Sajid Ali Naqvi.

He said that one can see reflection of Iranian Revolution in the wave of protests that has started in Middle East against dictators.

“In Pakistan we have been following the path shown by Imam Khomeini,” Sajid Ali Naqvi said.

He said that only because of the Islamic Revolution people of different sects of Islam come close to each other.

He called for unity among Muslim Ummah to counter anti-Islam conspiracies.

The day of Imam Khomeini’s return to Iran marks the start of 10 days of celebrations, which culminate on February 11 — the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
