New Delhi : The Delhi High Court Friday sought a response from corporate lobbyist Niira Radia on a plea for lifting of the curb on the release and circulation of the book “Close Encounters with Niira Radia” written by advocate R.K. Anand.
Justice V.K. Jain issued notice to Radia seeking her response within four weeks on an application filed by the publisher Har-Anand Publications Pvt Ltd.
The court fixed July 14 as the next date of hearing in the case.
On May 25, the court had stopped the release and circulation of the book on a defamation suit filed by Radia.
“The book contains excerpts from the wire-tapped telephonic conversations of Radia with political leaders, industry captains and journalists,” Radia said in her application.
