Islamabad : At least 13 Indian fishermen have been taken into custody off the coast of Karachi for allegedly violating Pakistan’s marine boundary, a media report said Wednesday.
Three boats belonging to the Indian fishermen were also seized, the Daily Times reported citing the Maritime Security Agency.
Officials said the fishermen would be handed over to police after initial interrogation by the agency.
This is the second such incident in a week. Last week, 22 Indian fishermen were arrested while allegedly fishing near the marine border off Karachi.
