The court also asked the administration in the agitation-hit districts to ensure that all Jat protesters were removed from railway tracks.

The division bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi asked the deputy commissioners and district police chiefs in Haryana to ensure that the order of the court was conveyed properly to the Jat community leaders.

Seeking inclusion of the Jat community in the Other Backward Class (OBC) category for job quota of the central and Haryana government, Jat community members have blockaded nearly 15 railway tracks across Haryana for the last nearly three weeks.
