The PAC is investigating alleged irregularities in the sale of 2G telecom licences in 2007-08, which the government auditor, Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), said cost the exchequer several crore rupees. It led to the ouster of A. Raja as communications minister in November last year.

The leaked taped conversations of Radia with industrialists and politicians, including Tata and Raja made headlines last year.

The PAC has asked Niira Radia and Ratan Tata to appear before it on April 4.

Other corporate honchos are also to appear before the panel. The PAC is headed by Bharatiya Janata Party leader Murli Manohar Joshi.
