BJP spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman told reporters here that the party leaders had already discussed the provisions of the Jan Lokpal bill with members of Team Hazare and both sides understood each other’s stand on the provisions of the Jan Lokpal bill that the social activists push for.

“The leaders of opposition in the both houses of parliament had talked about the provisions of the Jan Lokpal bill that the party agrees with and those provisions that cannot be under the existing constitutional framework,” Sitharaman said.

Taking on the Congress, Hazare had earlier in the day announced that he would resume his movement for Jan Lokpal bill after Dussehra and begin the stir keeping in mind the Oct 13 Lok Sabha by-election from Hisar in Haryana.
