Pakistani PM to visit Kazakhstan to discuss bilateral relations

Islamabad : Pakistani Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani will begin a two-day visit to Astana, Kazakhstan, at the invitation of the Kazakh leadership.

The Prime Minister’s visit is part of Pakistan’s policy of regional outreach and strengthening relations with all its important neighbors, said foreign office in a statement.

The Prime Minister, it said, will hold talks with President Nazarbayev Nursultan Abishevich and Prime Minister Karim Massimov. The Prime Minister and the Kazakh leadership will also consider further strengthening and expansion of bilateral relations.

Pakistan values its close relations with Kazakhstan. The two countries belong to the same region and have shared interests in peace and stability in the region.
