Kolkata : The lone Indian contestant in the World Press Photo Contest has won a honorary prize in the Spot News category in Amsterdam.
Salil Bera, who works for The Week magazine here, was the only Indian among 5,247 contestants from 124 different countries to get the prize.
In its 55th year, the annual World Press Photo Contest is recognized as the world’s leading international contest for photojournalists.
