New Delhi : The war against terror will top the agenda of the Delhi Police this year, its chief, B.K. Gupta said Friday.
Addressing the annual press conference of the Delhi Police, Gupta said: “In 2012, we will focus on terror groups and the war against terror will be the top agenda of Delhi Police as metros like Delhi and Mumbai are more vulnerable to terror attacks.”
Besides this, safety of women and senior citizens in the capital will also feature on the priority list. “We will also try to curb the crime against women and senior citizens in the capital,” Gupta said.
According to the commissioner, 12,788 complaints were registered by senior citizens in 2011.
