Patna: Imarat Shariah, the most respected religious organization in Bihar, has announced that Ramazan will start from tomorrow. Imarat Shariah and Khanqah Mujibia have jointly issued the statement regarding beginning of Ramazan from Saturday. However, Idarah Shariah, which claims to represent Barelvi section of the Muslim community, said Ramazan will being from Sunday.
The statement of Imarat Shariah has been broadcast on local TV channels and radio. But given the stand of Idarah Shariah, it is certain Ramazan will start on two days in Bihar and most likely Eid will also be celebrated on two dates.
