Guwahati : Two bike-borne assailants shot at a businessman here Monday and snatched from him a bag containing about Rs.7 lakh in cash in this main city of Assam, police said.
The heist took place around 7.30 p.m. at Bharalumukh area in the city, police said.
The victim was admitted to a local hospital, where his condition was stated to be out of danger.
