New Delhi : Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress president Sonia Gandhi and general secretary Rahul Gandhi will address a rally of party workers here Sunday.
The Ramlila ground rally would be attended by all Congress chief ministers, state unit chiefs, heads of block and district units, MPs, legislators and office bearers of the party’s frontal organisations.
“The rally will be held on Nov 4,” Congress general secretary Janardan Dwivedi told reporters.
According to informed sources, the Congress leadership is expected to explain why the government has allowed 51 percent foreign equity in retail trade despite intense opposition.
