Abu Dhabi: Belarus seeks to strengthen its relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), its Minister for Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei said on the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The two established diplomatic relations Oct 20, 1992.
Belarus’ government and its people value the friendship between the two countries and have always looked at bilateral relations from an overall strategic perspective, the minister told the Emirates News Agency.
“To continuously consolidate and strengthen Belarus-UAE relations is not only in the fundamental interests of the two peoples, but is also conducive to solidarity and cooperation between the two countries,” he added.
