New Delhi : India’s representative to the UNHRC Dilip Sinha Wednesday briefed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the US-sponsored resolution denouncing Sri Lanka over rights abuses, government sources said.
According to the sources, the prime minister reviewed India’s response to the upcoming vote at the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva along with External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid and Defence Minister A.K. Antony.
“Consultations will continue till the prime minister takes a final call on India’s response to the US resolution,” a source said after the two-hour-long meeting.
