Patna: Youth Congress leader Minnat Rahmani has been appointed as the Chairman of Minority Department of Bihar State Congress Committee. A delighted Rahmani said that this is a new initiative from All India Congress Committee as earlier only the veteran leaders were getting this post.
“I thank AICC president Smt Sonia Gandhi ji, Vice President Shri Rahul Gandhi ji, National Minority President, Khurshid Ahmad Sayed and Congress Bihar State President Shri Ashok Choudhary ji for appointing me the state chairman.”

The credit goes to see-change initiatives to Rahul Gandhi as Minnat’s appointment is seen as the result by party workers from the state. Some of the key persons who had served to this position are Ex minister Dr. Khalid Rashid Saba, Ex MLA Mubarak Hussain and Ex MLA Khalil Ansari.
“I have got a very challenging job as the chairman from the party, and I would give my best to justify the same by fulfilling the expectations of minorities in the state,” said Minnat Rahmani.
He further added, “Congress is the only option that can ensure safety and prosperity to the minorities in the state and the country. The people belonging to minority communities such as Muslim, Sikh, Jain, Christian, etc. must bring Congress to power by voting in upcoming Loksabha election. Congress state president Ashok Choudhary had already done a lot of activities for the minorities, and I will take his mission and vision ahead.”
Taking a dig at Gujarat chief minister NarendraModi, Rahmani said that he is a big liar, and the minorities of Bihar and country should come on common platform to teach a lesson to him. He has also requested the people of Bihar to join hands with Congress and making the party stronger for making a prosperous India.
