Dammam: Prasthutha Reader’s Forum, Eastern Province has announced a Literary and Cultural Festival for Kannadiga’s named “KALA SINCHANA” to be held on 21st February, 2014 at Hadeed Beach Camp, Jubail.
This event is being organized to provide a platform and promote the expatriates living in KSA who are associated with Literature, Arts, and Poetry and possessing any other special talents. The event will be focused in different categories mainly on kids, youths and their families stated a Press Release issued by Forum.
The Event will be started at 8:00 A.M with Children Programs followed by Elders- Gents & Ladies traditional games.
These events are categorized as follows:
1. Kids – “Chili-Pili” (Qirath, Singing, Drawing and Outdoor games)
2. Youth – “Gali-Bili” (Lagori, Blind Walk, Balloon fight, Tag war and many more interesting fun games)
3. Women – “Ini-Dani” (School days Songs competition, Bille Donka, Kere Dada, Ring Throw…etc)
In after Noon session there will be an open to all cultural Program and also a special talent program displayed by “MASA” Nagaraj and his group on the same spot. Some prominent Poets from Karnataka such as B.A. Mohammad Ali (NMPT, Mangalore), Jaleel Mukri (Uppinagady), Ibrahim (Koppa) and some of new emerging poets will present a energetic program “KALARAVA KAVI GOSHTI” after the very next of cultural program.
One more focal event for this gathering is a social drama by Prasthutha Readers Forum team; it aims as hand-mirror to the present scenario. Finally at 3:30 P.M there will be a Grand Valedictory & Prize Distribution Ceremony along with facilitation for social activists.
For General Public: There will be an open house competition for creating and presenting good Greetings or wishes (Proverb) for the event. The best greeting will be awarded during the KALA SINCHANA Event.
