New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia in collaboration with Samrthyam, Delhi Metro is going to organize a Public Awareness Campaign of One Billion Rising (OBR) called “Rise for Justice: Mobility for All” on February 14, 2014.
In the above campaign, which will start at 11 AM from Rajiv Chowk Metro Station, volunteers of OBR will get campaign material to be distributed to the public and will distribute it around three metro stations, namely, Rajiv Chowk (B-Block), Central Secretariat and Patel Chowk.
From 3 to 4 PM, a Dignity March for Accessible, Safe and Inclusive Environment for Girls and Women with Disabilities will be taken out from Rajiv Chowk towards Central Park with signature panels and placards.
In the end, OBR evening will start from 5 PM onwards at Central Park.
