Hyderabad: India’s biggest technology incubator will be online soon to power the economic and technological engines of Hyderabad. “A technology ecosystem that drives innovation and growth, a technology incubator – India’s biggest – will be ready in 6-7 months in Hyderabad, said Mr KTR, Hon’ble Minister for IT & Panchayat Raj while addressing the graduates at the Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology in Hyderabad, India.

The government of Telangana state is focussed on bringing Hyderabad its own glory to entice investors, and bring it on par with major IT cities like Bangalore. With the entire landscape of country changing to the advent and enhanced utilization of technology, he expressed intent to make Hyderabad the first fully Wi-Fi connected city in India.

The city’s software exports have jumped from rupees 49,000 crores to 57,000 crores since last year. To ensure Hyderabad retains its charming heritage and cosmopolitan culture, more happening events including those of lifestyle should be organized in city, he added.

Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology conducted its annual graduation Day for students who passed engineering in June 2014. The guest of honour for the day Prof. S. Satyanarayana said that students must exercise innovation and creativity while stressing the need to pursue internship in a reputed company to bridge the gap between academia and industry.

Mr Musharraf Ali Farooqui, a student of ECE department from 2009 batch, who secured all India 80th position in IAS exam in his maiden attempt, was also felicitated with a gold medal.

Mr Zafar Javeed – Secretary, SUES congratulated the students while encouraging them to set goals and thrive to pursue them. Mr Khan Lateef Mohammed Khan – Chairman, Prof. Mir Akbar Ali Khan – Treasurer, Mr Mohammed Waliullah – Vice Chairman and Prof. Basheer Ahmed, Director – MJCET were also present on the occasion.

Dr. Anupama Koneru – Principal, Sultan Ul Uloom College of Pharmacy, Dr. Shahbaaz, Director – Amjad Ali Khan College of Business Administration, Mr Khaja Asif Ahmed – President, MJCET Alumni Association, Mr Amir Javeed – Member, Sultan ul Uloom Education Society were also present on the occasion.

MJCET was established in 1980 and offers engineering in 8 branches. It has been ranked 48th among top 75 colleges of India by Outlook Magazine for the year 2014. 672 students were awarded provisional certificates on their graduation day today.
