Inauguration of 100 days ‘anti liquor youth walk’

Chennai: Peoples Movement against Liquor and Drugs (PMALD) began the 100 days Anti Liquor Youth Walk from in Tamil Nadu from Kanniya Kumari to Chennai including Puducherry. The yatra inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Traders Union Federation President T. Vellaiyan, Khudai Khidmatgar National Leader Faisal Khan, NAPM National Coordinator Dr. Gabriela, Ex Vice Chancellor of Gandhi Gram University Dr Karunagaran.


Inauguration of 100 days ‘anti liquor youth walk’

The yatra presented a garland at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhi Bhawan Kanniya Kumari and then to Kamraja’s idol. The yatra was addressed by the leaders of all the religion.

The yatra started at the crucial political and climatic atmosphere in Tamil Nadu, even though People in large supporting the yatra. Students from Gujarat Vidhya Peeth also participated in the yatra.

They traveled about 18- 20 km every day and stayed in very simple way in temple, Church, Public halls in the villages.
