Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques orders distribution of the Holy Qur’an to Pilgrims

Jeddah : Saudi Arabia will distribute 1.4 million copies of the Holy Qur’an and translation of its meanings, published by the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Qur’an, as a gift of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah to the departing pilgrims.

The copies of the Holy Qur’an that will be distributed to the all departing pilgrims will include the ordinary Mushaf, the Jawamee Mushaf for the elderly, Mushaf Naskh Taleek for people from Pakistan, Warsh Mushaf for the people of Arab Maghreb, as well as versions in many international languages including among others Urdu, Hausa, English, French, Turkish, Thai, Indonesian, Chinese, Spanish, Melebarian, Russian, Turkish, German and Albanian.

The distribution will be conducted 24 hours at the Kingdom’s departure points to ensure handing the gift to the departing pilgrims. Besides to the Holy book, the pilgrims will be given the “Haj gift,” published by the Agency of Publication and Scientific Research at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.

The “Haj gift” includes four religious books, a cassette, and a CD containing lectures on various religious issues, teachings, awareness, culture and Sharia.
