Urdu to get Due Place in Telangana: K. Vishweshwar Reddy

Hyderabad: Promising to restore cultural heritage of Hyderabad, Mr. K. Vishweshwar Reddy, TRS MP from Chevella, hopes that Urdu will get it’s due place in the newly formed state. Mr. Reddy was delivering Teachers’ Day Lecture at Maulana Azad National Urdu University today at Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

Prof. Mohammad Miyan, Vice-Chancellor presided over the programme. New Government of Telangana under the leadership of Mr. K. Chandrashekhar Rao, CM has a plan for revival and restoration of Hyderabadi Culture and Urdu Language.

He said, Urdu, is not the language of Muslims only, even non-Muslims, can learn Urdu. Recalling the close connection his forefathers had with Urdu Language, Mr. Reddy said his Grandfather had a good knowledge of not only Urdu but Persian also.

Speaking about the importance of Teacher in the Society he said, a good educator is one who makes even a mediocre as excellent student. It is important to make your teacher happy. Signaling out unemployment as the most important issue facing the country, he stressed the need to provide internship and apprenticeship to the students before they enter the market.

Mr. Reddy, described communication skills and confidence as the two most important basic requirements for any student to be successful. Prof. Mohammad Miyan in his presidential remarks hoped that Mr. K. Venkateshwar Reddy will help the University in providing the required internship to the students. Teachers, like the parents, play an important role in shaping the destiny of the students.
