Geedam (Chattisgarh): Reports are emerging that Soni Sori, the adivasi leader from Bastar, was attacked by few unidentified men in Geedam, Chattisgarh.
Reportedly, something was thrown on her face on Saturday causing intense burning, owing which she is hospitalised at Geedam, and is being shifted to Jagdalpur.
Just a few days back, she had been threatened by the police alleging that the house she lived in did not have the requisite documentation due to which she would soon have to vacate. Before that her house was vandalised and she was even given death threats.
