New Delhi : BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav on Thursday said Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif spoke at the United Nations General Assembly like the “supreme commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen” and not the leader of his country.
“The Pakistan PM at the UN did not talk like the supreme commander of Pakistan, but as supreme commander of Hizbul Mujahideen,” Ram Madhav told reporters here.
Madhav, who is in charge of Bharatiya Janata Party’s affairs in Jammu and Kashmir, also accused Sharif of “openly campaigning for terror commanders”.
In his speech at the UN General Assembly on Wednesday, the Pakistan premier termed Hizbul Mujahideen militant Burhan Wani, whose killing on July 8 sparked off the current unrest in the Kashmir Valley, as a “young leader and a symbol of Kashmiri unrest”.
