Ramadan 1438: Ali Jan

"I am 69 years old and I have been fasting since the age of 8. Count the years yourself." Says Ali Jan a retired government worker. "Unfortunately, this year I am not able to fast due to my sickness. I have to constantly drink water. Almost 4 litres a day."

"I feel empty and restless without keeping roza. My faith and religion is one thing that has always been on the top of my priority list. Today morning my whole family woke up for sehri and I was lying on my bed wondering only if I could fast. However, I still go for tarawih namaz (late night prayers). I can't fast but I can still observe ramzan."
