Yogi’s Ayodhya visit: ‘Ram Lalla Hum Aayenge, Mandir Vahin banaenge’ echoes again

By TwoCircles.net Staff Reporter

Last year on Dusshera,  when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Lucknow, he openly chanted ‘Jai Shri Ram’ sloagans from the stage. It is a well-known fact that in Uttar Pradesh, the chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’ almost always refers to the Ayodhya dispute.

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath today visited Ayodhya and prayed at Ram Lalla at Ram Janmbhoomi, at the site which continues to remain under dispute. And his welcome was supported by ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and the older disputed slogan ‘Ram Lalla Hum Aayenge, Mandir Wahin Banayenge’, giving an idea of what may lie ahead in future for the state.

The visit by Yogi comes just a day after a special CBI court framed charges of conspiracy over Murali Manohar Joshi, Lal Krishna Advani, Uma Bharti, Vinay Katiyar, Nritya Gopal Das and others.

Even at Lucknow yesterday, Yogi met these politicians of BJP and greeted them upon their arrival in Lucknow, and his today’s visit in Ayodhya can be seen in the light of the same.

Moreover, Yogi’s visit is nearly two and half month after when Hon’ble Supreme Court said that Ayodhya dispute shall be solved through mediation under the CJI JS Khehar.

Throughout Wednesday morning, most of the Hindi TV channels and their anchors looked joyous while reporting about Yogi’s visit. A senior journalist told TwoCircles.net, “I was pretty sure that if today Yogi would have started ‘Karseva’ again, they (reporters) would have picked up tools very happily.”

Yogi took part in birthday celebrations of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, who is co-accused in Babri Mosque demolition case and who accepted his role in turning Babri Masjid into a rubble while talking to the media.
