School going girls of Aligarh Muslim University actively participated in various events organised by SOCH on theme ”Women Empowerment” to observe Sir Syed Bicentary Celebration.

Poster Making, Slogan Writing Card Making and Essay Writing competitions were organised in which large number of students participated and showed their creativity.

The chief guest Naghma Irfan (Principal Senior Secondary School Girls) motivated the youth by recognising their efforts. She said, “The young talent and their active participation in daily affair can only change the world.”

Rizwana Shah, Khalida Tarannum, Shama Parween were also present in the programme.

Saleem Mohmmad Khan, president at SOCH, and Furqan Khan Secretary at Club for Short Evening Courses CEC said, “We will continue such programs to bring out hidden talent in students.”

Organisers of the event Aiman Bari & Mantasha Malik successfully organised the events with the help of volunteers Afaf Akhter, Anam Fatima, Wardah Firdaus, Bazela Mastoor, Zurryat Fatma, Nida Akram, Zainab Ansar, Areeba Yahya, Azam Khan and others.
