“I remember when I was a child, I accidentally broke the fast. I was very thirsty and drank Pepsi. I immediately went to the mosque and told the maulvi about it. He said it was alright, if done by mistake, Allah will forgive,” recalled Munawar Ahmed, 30.
“During the month of Ramadan there is a spiritual protection. Whatever Allah gives, we receive with gratitude,” says Munawar Ahmed, who by profession is a car dealer.
