Head constable, Mohammed Ghani, 48 years, was beaten by some unknown assailants while he was coming back after an investigation regarding a land dispute in Hamela ki ber village of Brargam panchayat of Bhim block in Rajasthan yesterday.
Ghani, a resident of Rajasmand town was posted in Bhim and had gone to settle a land dispute. But was attacked by a mob with sticks and he suffered severe injuries on the head due to which he died even as he was taken to the health centre.
Investigations are underway through the CCTV footages of the cameras installed in the area.
