‘Sab Yaad Rakha Jaega’ has officially been marked by the coalition of different organisations for the reorganization of mass protest movements to voice dissent against the BJP’s discriminatory citizenship bill. The protest is scheduled for June 3, 12 PM; inviting anti-CAA-NRC-NPR supporters to continue their peaceful protests in their respective campuses and areas maintaining norms of physical distancing. It has urged supporters to launch a nationwide campaign to resist false accusations on rights activists and scholars under UAPA.

The organizers have also shown solidarity with the migrant workers crisis and demanded that the government pay immediate attention to address the issue. It has underpinned the need for individuals, groups and organizations to restart the anti CAA protests that had slowed down due to the Coronavirus lockdown, highlighting that the revamp must be done strictly complying with ‘physical distancing’ to contain the disease spread.

Urging an inquiry into the Delhi police action of arrests of activists on sedition charges, the campaigners have also demanded the government to “arrest the real culprits of the Delhi pogrom” and drop all false charges against Safoora Zargar, Ishrat Jahan, Khalid Saifi, Gulfisha Fatima, Sharjeel Imam, Shifa Ur-Rahman and others who have been hounded by the police despite the lockdown to fraudulently record evidence or become false witnesses against arrested civil rights workers.
