‘Dharmik Jan Morcha’ formed in Rajasthan for promoting love, amity among religious communities

New Delhi: Leaders and gurus of different religions have formed a state-wide religious front ‘Dharmik Jan Morcha’ at a seminar in Jaipur for promoting love and amity among all communities. Speaking on the occasion, all the religious leaders have maintained that religion does not separate and divide people one another, whereas it unites all human beings.

Addressing the seminar on the role of religious gurus in strengthening the atmosphere of love and harmony in the country, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Vice President Prof. Mohammad Saleem Engineer has said that the violence happens when people do not follow their religion properly. He said, “it is not necessary to agree with each others’ views and faiths, but we should respect each others’ right to disagree. Here gurus of all religions are present on the same stage, in fact, this is the real face of India.”

Speaking on the occasion, Galta Peethadhish Awadhesh Acharya Maharaj said, “those people who happen to be elders of the society, are now creating misunderstandings towards each other. This is an extremely politicised situation, where we are living with apprehension, arousing hatred in our hearts toward one another.”

Mufti Mohammad Zakir Noumani of Jaipur, said, “the role of religious gurus is very significant in enhancing the atmosphere of love and harmony in the society. He suggested intensifying mutual dialogues and discussions.

Bishop Oswald Lewis, Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Jaipur, said, “we have to convince our followers that we are all children of God and if we love God, we must love our siblings too.”

Mahamandaleshwar Pandit Purushottam Bharti said, “some vested interests want to disintegrate the country by spreading hatred. We should warn them that they will not succeed in their mission as the countrymen live with mutual love and affection.

Giani Gardeep Singh, head of Gurdwara Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur said, “our greatest strength is that we all believe in God and we are all really born with the same light.

Shia cleric Maulana Sadiq Hussaini said: “Prophet Muhammad says the best person is the one who benefits others.

Sneha Bahan of Brahma Kumaris Aishwarya University has stated that if all religious leaders get united, then peace will prevail in the country.

Acharya Praveen Bhai Ji of Saras Nikunj Peeth has said that religious leaders have a big responsibility to maintain peace in the country.

On this occasion, Father Vijay Paul Singh, President of Christian Shakti Committee, Shri Shyam Sundar Ji of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya University, Maulana Habibur Rahman of Niazi Dargah, Mir Qurban Ali Sahab also expressed their views.
