New Delhi : Judges of the Delhi courts Monday organised a blood donation camp in the Tis Hazari court complex here for victims of the serial blasts.

The Delhi Higher Judicial Services Association and the Delhi Judicial Services held the camp.

A team of doctors from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) visited the camp and collected 36 units of blood, which would be sent to all the government hospitals where the blast victims have been admitted.

The serial blasts on Saturday killed 23 people and injured 97 others.

The camp was inaugurated by Judge in-charge Rohini Court B.B. Chaudhary, who along with 20 other judges and court staff donated their blood.

“It is the need of the hour that we all should stay united and contribute in whatever way to fulfil our social responsibility towards society,” said a judicial officer.
