Mohali (Punjab) : Mahendra Singh Dhoni, leading India in the absence of injured Anil Kumble, won the toss and decided to bat in the second cricket test against Australia at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium here Friday.
Leg-spinner Amit Mishra has come in for Kumble, the only change from the side that played in the drawn first test in Bangalore. Kumble failed to recover from a shoulder stress and Mishra is making his debut.
Australia also made one change, again forced by injury, bringing in Peter Siddle for medium pacer Stuart Clark who is out with an elbow injury.
