Chennai : India defeated England by six wickets in the first cricket Test to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium here Monday.
India achieved the winning target of 387 on the final day with Sachin Tendulkar scoring an unbeaten 103 while Yuvraj Singh remained not out on 85.
