Baghdad : A committee formed by representatives of Iran, US and Iraq Monday held its meeting behind closed doors at the prime minister’s palace here.
The committee comprises deputy head of the Iranian delegation Amir Abdollahian and his counterparts from the US and Iraqi delegations, the official IRNA news agency said.
Journalists were allowed to attend the meeting for a short while at the beginning of the session.
The meeting was also attended by Iraqi deputy interior minister, deputy foreign minister, security advisor of Iraq’s Ministry of Defence and political advisor to prime minister.
The first two rounds of talks on Iraq’s security were held in the Iraqi capital on May 28 and July 24 at the ambassadorial level.
