Lahore : Prime Minister Syed Yusaf Raza Gilani on Friday said that Pakistan would take the international community into confidence by making public the Mumbai attack report on Monday.
Talking to the media at Lahore Airport, he said that the report based on the information shared by India would be submitted to him on Monday which would be made public same day.
He said that Pakistan is not isolated and the entire world is with us as we always strongly condemn the incidents of terrorism across the world and we even vehemently condemned Mumbai attack .
He categorically announced that no one will be allowed to use Pakistan’s soil for acts of terrorism.
Responding to a question about the solidarity with the oppressed people of held Kashmir, he said that the entire leadership of Pakistan, parliament, its valiant people and all political parties alongwith their leaders whole-heartedly expressed their unflinching and unwavering full-fledged support to Kashmiris struggling for their just cause of right of self determination in the occupied state.
In response to a question about the long march, he said that long march, train march, rallies and protests are part of a democratic system.
He said that it is the right of opposition to take part in long march and we do not mind and recognize their right provided it does not create law and order situation in the country.
He said that he has repeatedly made it clear that he firmly believes in stability of the system and he fully enjoys the support of the majority of the members in the house as he was given vote of confidence as Prime Minister with consensus by political parties. He said meeting with political leaders and members of the parliament is day to day business of the government and it is nothing special.
Prime Minister Syed Yusaf Raza Gilani said that UN inquiry commission will conduct the probe into Benazir Bhutto’s assassination strictly in accordance with its mandate. He said, “we requested the UN in line with the resolutions adopted by the parliament that hidden factors leading to the assassination of world famed political leader should be made known.”
About AQ Khan, he said that court has declared him (Qadeer) a free citizen and government did not interfere in judicial matters at all. Regarding his acquittal in NAB references, Prime Minister said he is accountable to the people.
Replying to a question regarding non-payment of salaries to railways employees and non-issuance of free of cost NIC, he said that he will ask for reports from both departments and then let the media know about it.
Replying to a question about the murder of PPP worker in the city a few days ago, he said, “we always condemn the politics of violence and do not believe in it.”
