Schwalmtal (Germany) : Four people were killed and one person was seriously wounded Tuesday in a shootout in the western German town of Schwalmtal, police said.
Three other people inside the house where the gunman had holed himself up in were found unharmed, police said in first accounts after they had stormed the house. The gunman surrendered. A woman was seriously wounded in the shootout.
