AMU student selected by Science Foundation of Ireland for research prog

Aligarh: An undergraduate student of B.Tech. (Electronics) III Year, Ms. Musfira Jilani of Aligarh Muslim University was selected by the Science Foundation of Ireland for their UREKA (Undergraduate Research Experience Knowledge Award) Programme. Ms. Musfira is one of the ten students selected from all over the world for the award this year.

As a part of the above programme, Ms. Jilani from Department of Electronics Engineering, Z. H. College of Engineering and Technology, AMU, participated in a ten-week Summer Internship in Autonomous Robotics at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth. She successfully completed her research project on “Lampposts as landmarks for Simultaneous Localization and Mapping”. The award also included a fellowship of 300 Euro per week for ten weeks.
