Mumbai: Support for anti-corruption campaigner Anna Hazare is growing and expanding its base across the country. Latest to join the league of Muslim groups who are supporting Anna, is All India Muslim Women’s Personal Law Board. Board’s Mumbai president Nadeem Khan has announced her group’s support to Anna who is sitting on fast-unto-death at Delhi’s Ramlila Ground.
“We are with Anna Hazare and we are also against corruption. Deoband has been speaking that Muslim are not with Anna but here I am announcing that we are with Anna,” said Naeem Khan in a statement on 22nd August.
She has requested all Muslims to fight against corruption and give their support to Anna because he is fighting for the nation, not for a party. “And I also request to all Muslims that you also fight against corruption and just give support to Anna. Anna is not representing any political party, he is fighting for our nation, so I request to all Indians to come and stand against corruption,” she said.
