Mumbai : Engineering and construction major Larsen and Toubro (L&T) Wednesday said it had got orders worth Rs.1,340 crore to build commercial and residential buildings during the second quarter of the current financial year.
“L&T has secured from reputed customers new orders aggregating to Rs.975 crore for the construction of a mixed-use commercial development and construction of the main civil works for an IT campus,” the company said in a regulatory statement.
The company also secured an order valued at Rs.203 crore for the construction of a residential tower from a leading developer and has got orders worth another Rs.162 crore from its ongoing projects.
“These orders further enhance the order book of the company which has already secured major design-and-build contracts in airports, IT parks, and commercial and residential space,” the statement added.
