Islamabad : At least four suspected militants were killed and two others were injured in a drone strike Tuesday night in Pakistan’s northwest tribal region bordering Afghanistan, a media report said.
Two missiles were fired by the drone at a house suspected to be a militant hideout in Azam Warsak area of South Waziristan, Xinhua reported citing ARY television channel.
This drone strike was the 53rd of its kind in Pakistan in 2011. A total of 467 people, most of them believed to be militants, have been killed in such strikes this year.
