Islamabad : The Balochistan government in Pakistan seeks to introduce stringent measures to tighten security in the province.
The government felt the need to propose such measures following a series of terrorist attacks which killed scores of people in Quetta city in recent weeks, the Daily Times reported.
The measures include monitoring of sale and purchase of property, renting out of houses, a campaign against vehicles with tinted glasses plying on Quetta roads, continuation of ban on pillion riding and regulation of registration of illegal and smuggled vehicles.
These measures were approved at a meeting of the provincial cabinet presided over by the Chief Minister, Nawab Mohammad Aslam Raisani, Friday.
The cabinet meeting will continue for the second day today, an official statement said Saturday.
