New Delhi : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Monday accused the Congress of using the Central Bureau of Investigation against YSR Congress leader Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy while shielding other ministers in its Andhra Pradesh government charged with corruption.
“The Congress is using the CBI against its opponents…we would like to ask Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy why is he trying to shield six of his ministers facing charges of corruption,” BJP spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy told reporters here.
Jagan, as the YSR Congress leader is popularly known, was arrested by the agency Sunday in Hyderabad after three days of questioning in a case of illegally acquiring assets.
