Lucknow: Sadar of Markazi Chand Committee, Farangi Mahal and Qazi-e-Shaher Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali, Imam, Aishbagh Eidgah has announced that today on 29 Shaban 1433 Hijri which is July 20, 2012, Friday, the moon for Ramdhan-ul-Mubaraq has not been sighted. Thus the first day of Ramdhan-ul-Mubaraq will be on July 22, 2012, Sunday.
Sadar, Shia Chand Committee, Maulana Saif Abbas Naqvi too had announced that moon has not been sighted thus first Ramdhan will be on July 22.
However, Vice-President, All India Muslim Personal Law Board and Shia Cleric, Dr Kalbe Sadiq had announced that first Roza will be Saturday, July 21st. He also has announced that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on 20th of August. He has made this announcement on July 16 at 5:35 pm. His close aide Shahzad Abbas confirmed that Dr Kalbe Sadiq has made this announcement. Infact Shahzad even forwarded a SMS about this to TwoCircles.net.
Thus Lucknow is all set for two Eid-Ul Fitr this year.
